Our newest manual insert reader, the Compact Spectrum III, is one of the few readers in the industry that couples smart card and magnetic stripe reading capabilities into a compact solution. Compact Spectrum III reads up to three tracks of MagStripe data. The smart card contacts are the landing type. With a minimum of 1,000,000 life cycles for both magnetic and smart card reading capabilities, the Compact Spectrum III is an ideal choice for demanding OEM applications.
