Our magstripe readers have two magnetic heads to enable them to write and verify data with a single pass. These magstripe readers are capable of en-coding any of three tracks at either 75 or 210 BPI densities. Many of the magstripe readers have a stainless steel wear surface to ensure long life, accurate data registration, and minimized alignment problems. The unit verifies the written stripe data in ISO/ANSI or user defined formats and it configures with Windows based operating software, and is compatible with ISO/ANSI, AAMVA, and California DMV formats. Data is output to a standard RS-232 serial interface on these magstripe readers.
